Verna is an InsurTech that launched its first motor insurance product in April 2022 and has since then captured just under 3% market share in its home market in Iceland. What makes the product unique is the combination of telematics with an ecosystem of services that help customers to use their cars on a daily basis (e.g. fee-free parking, offers for car wash, roadside assistance, etc) with a full-fletch motor insurance app that covers all core processes in insurance including onboarding, policy management, invoicing, claims, payments, etc.
