Transfer of Verna's Car Insurance to Vörður
Verna will stop offering insurance at the end of January 2026, and therefore customers’ vehicle insurance policies will be transferred to Vörður on February 1.
Vörður has been Verna’s underwriter since October 1, in addition to handling claims services for the company. At the end of January 2026, Verna will cease offering insurance. As a result, Verna customers’ vehicle insurance policies will automatically transfer to Vörður on February 1. You don’t need to do anything – your coverage will remain unchanged, on comparable or better terms.
Until February 1, 2026, Verna’s services will remain unchanged, and you can continue using the Verna app as usual.
